Why is it…,
Why is it that it’s all fun and charming and you can be up in the clouds while conversing with someone until there’s just a pause that’s too long? or maybe a phrase that’s not worded just right?
All of a sudden, you go from blissful conversation to one person, over analyzing everything they’ve said and everything the other person has said. Or maybe you stop thinking about what you’re response to a comment would be but you begin to think too much about how the other person would respond to a comment you make so you try to word that comment to manipulate the proper response you’re looking for.
It’s all this over analyzing of words that makes me want to just stop talking to people. Or more so, it makes me only want to interact with people who I know won’t think differently of me for shallow comment and I can feel comfortable to say anything to them because the relationship won’t change.
I need more people like that in my life.
